Getting back to football shape

Through the first two week of two-a-day practices, it is important that you get your mind and body back into football shape. Days go from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. What you eat and how you sleep and how you train your body is very important. This is my first time going into camp as a free safety. The transition is mentally and physically challenging. After years of training, my eyes were trained as a cornerback. The change to safety causes me to re-train my eyes and technique. Overall, I’m loving the challenge. As a corner, I loved when the safeties were physical. It was intimidating for the wide receivers. Now it is up to me to bring this level of play to our secondary.
