The Washington Redskins traded receiver Taylor Jacobs to the San Francisco 49ers for cornerback Mike Rumph -- a swap of oft-injured former high-round draft picks.

The San Francisco 49ers will open nine, free practices to the public during training camp 2006. Sponsored by the San Jose Mercury News, each of the nine open practices feature interactive games and player autograph sessions for fans, providing an opportunity for the 49ers Faithful to experience the excitement of training camp and the entire 49ers team in person.

San Francisco 49ers Cornerback Mike Rumph and his Dream Big Foundation are proud to be hosting a Celebrity basketball game. The “Clash of the Bay” will be an exhibition game for charity between players of the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders.
